Converted from a traditional Lincolnshire barn by local craftsmen in 2003, Bay Tree Cottage is constructed from local brick with a pantile roof. The Cottage is a self-contained one bedroom unit which is fully central heated. The heating and endless supply of hot water are provided by an oil fired boiler located in the boiler room adjacent to the cottage (this room also acts as a drying room for wet clothes and boots).

The Cottage is all on ground level and visitors can park directly outside giving easy access via the attractive porch.

To the side, french doors from the lounge open onto a very private, generously sized patio, complete with table and chairs.

From the patio, our visitors can enjoy fine views over the one and a half acre gardens and surrounding countryside.

From entering through the solid wood front door via the porch into the hallway, the double bedroom is to your right, the bathroom straight ahead and the lounge with kitchen area is to your left.

The bedroom with window to front, features quality hand made pine furniture, the mattress is made from hypo allergenic material, as are our pillows and duvet. All bed linen and towels are provided. Traditional sheets and blankets can be provided instead if preferred.

The bathroom features a quality steel bath, generous sized washbasin and low flush, close coupled WC. An electric shower is located over the bath. Grab handles are conveniently placed adjacent to both the bath and the WC for those guests who may require a little extra support.

The lounge with window to front and french doors to side, has a wonderfully comfortable settee, armchair, table and dining chairs, digital tv, video player, cd stereo system, side table and lamp.

The kitchen area within the lounge has a a four ring, Whirlpool electric hob, with extractor over, microwave oven with grill capability, fridge and sink with drainer. All crockery, glassware, cooking pans and utensils are provided, in fact everything you will need to ensure that your holiday is extra special and feels like home from home.

Adjacent to the cottage we have a boiler room where you will find an iron, ironing board, clothes horse, vacuum cleaner, broom etc. Wet clothes and boots may be dried here and cycles safely stored.
